"Catch 22" eng. version

"Catch 22"
I was caught into a bureaucratic plug recently. Steve named it "Catch 22". Silly me, I never heard it before.
I watched this movie last night and even it was shot in 1970, I was impressed by this satire. I don't know why I missed it. Certainly we did not have it back in Russian cinemas on time, since all the western movies were hits over there, so I would not miss it. My impression makes me feel like Joseff Heller and George Orwell are en-zygotic twins. Their subjects are lightly different, there are war and revolution, but the satires are equally strong and brutal.
Such a cruel satire needs to be read by political hawks and doves, It is necessary, as for the solid men who works on crucial global issues, as well as for housewives warring facebook on opposite sides, for teenagers, dreaming to participate in some battles to become heros, and for wordy liberals who steamed out most of their energy into whistles, and for all the coatch warriors pressing their sofas hard with their bodies and souls. For anyone who breathes unevenly about the structure of the world and would like it to be more fare. This novel works for crusty souls as a good enema for dry intestines.
The themes are far from new, quite contrary they are rather eternal. Even Leo Tolstoy was not discoverer rather colossal digger, shock-worker with worldwide recognition and stunning outcome. Yet, try to read it, you should be shock-reader by itself. While the satire catches you easily. You start watching it as Jim Kerry or Marilyn Monroe comedies and then it sucks you in with the power of blood and fire scenes and you can't stop watching and you watching and watching it till your own face is all over washed in tears. Then, when  it's over and you are still there completely empty after loss of all your close though fictional friends, whose lives were wasted .. and the wave of hatred knocking on your temple, the hatred to all the greedy power in Universe that easily rules the things globally and capitalizes on every drop of hot fresh blood and tiny pieces of young flesh. ......
Nice weather today and its weekend..
Have a good day folks!
